Genomics art exhibition opened
21 Jun 2011
The pieces of art made by the winners of the first Designers & Artists 4 Genomics Award can now be seen in Museum Naturalis, the Dutch National Museum of Natural History. The exhibition was officially opened on June 16 by the Director-General of the Ministry of Education. All visitors of the museum can see with their own eyes how a fungus and a bacterium cooperate to create bio-ethanol from plastic waste, if incorporating spider silk into human skin really makes the skin bulletproof and how microscopic little worms perform an opera. For more information, visit the website of Museum Naturalis.
