Exhibit Designers & Artist 4 Genomics 2012

Date: 08 Jun 2012 to 06 Jan 2013
Time: 09:00 to 17:00 hour
Location:Museum Naturalis, Leiden

From June 8th onwards, the exhibit Designers & Artists 4 Genomics can be visited at Museum Naturalis in Leiden. This exhibit shows the artworks made by the four winners of a Designers & Artists 4 Genomics Award 2011-2012.

The artworks are all product of a collaboration between young artists or designers with scientists from one of NGI's genomics centres. The resulting objects are a form of Bioart: art made by using live organisms or materials. The four winners won the award based on a project plan. The past months have been used to realize the artwork. Click here for more information on the winning projects.

DA4GA is an initiative of the Netherlands Genomics Initiative (NGI) and Waag Society, made possible by CSG Centre for Society and the Life Sciences and hosted by NCB Naturalis.
