General information

 Registration: Poster presenters must register to attend the conference. This can be done after your poster abstract has been accepted, but before 1 March 2012.

 Poster Session: The poster session will be held on Wednesday 9 May, during the opening day of the conference. Poster presenters will get 2-3 minutes to present their poster. The posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference.

Materials: The posters must be A0 size. Presenters may provide handout materials to support their presentations. Presenters are responsible for all their own materials. The conference organizers will provide display boards for mounting for the posters.

Deadline: The deadline to submit a poster abstract is 1 January 2012. Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words (as a Microsoft Word document or pdf) by sending it to Ms Olga Crapels

Selection procedures: Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Conference Program Committee, and successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email by 15 February 2012.

Guidelines: Please describe your proposed poster using the following headings: poster title, author(s), and the key findings or conclusions to be presented in the poster, including any implications for policy or practice. Please also provide a contact name and address and information about the project from which the poster originates, including project title, project dates, project team, role of the presenter, and background and objectives of the project.

Evaluation: Abstracts will be evaluated on substance and clarity of the content, relevance to the themes of the conference, and timeliness of the findings.

Final poster: Accepted presenters must submit their final poster as a printed, laminated document and in pdf format no later than 2 May 2012. Full poster content will be published on the conference series website approximately one week after the conference and will remain online for viewing.
