Visiting scholar programme

CSG’s Visiting Scholar Programme has provided researchers based outside the Netherlands with the opportunity to spend 2-3 months at CSG Centre for Society and Life Sciences in Nijmegen or one of its affiliated research groups spread around the country.

The researchers have formulated a tailor-made project in close co-operation with CSG or the affiliated research group. As well as working on a specific research topic, the visiting scholar contributes to CSG’s aims, objectives and visibility on several dimensions: academic, in public discussions and debate, and in terms of networking. As a rule of thumb every visiting scholar were required to deliver at least one public lecture, one academic lecture and one workshop for CSG-researchers.
