Life sciences in the classroom
CSG has developed and managed the website AllesoverDNA.nl (All About DNA). This websites covers the gap between the ongoing scientific world and secondary education. It's goal is to inform students and teachers about relevant concepts from life sciences research and their applications and to offer tools to support teaching and learning about the life sciences.
Cell biology, molecular genetics and modern biotechnology become increasingly important, also in society and education. AllesoverDNA offers clear descriptions of the most important concepts of the teaching curriculum, but also of the most modern research techniques. It also offers current science news and backgrounds, teaching modules, and self-training for tests and exams.
All About DNA is developed for students and their teachers in the upper levels of Dutch secondary education.
As from January 2014, AllesoverDNA is owned and managed by het Erfocentrum (Dutch National Information Centre on Heredity).
